Lang Tengah island is another beautiful island in Terengganu that you should visit. Located between Perhentian island and Redang island, it has one of the best diving spots in Malaysia. There are 15 dive sites around Lang Tengah island all within 10 minutes boat ride from each other.
Lang Tengah island gets its name from "Lang" derived from the word "Helang" which means eagle in Malay and Tengah which means middle. Therefore Lang Tengah means eagles resting on the middle island, perhaps due to the abundance of fish found here.
As with all the beautiful islands in Terengganu, Lang Tengah is a picture perfect gateway, complete with the emerald blue waters, lush tropical jungle, white sandy beaches and colorful corals.
